Signing up for the HIJK Parenting Skills (APS) course gives you access to 12 interactive one-to-one sessions with an expert APS practitioner via web-based teleconferencing.

The expert Advanced Parenting Skills practitioner will guide you through the 12 one-to-one sessions using Parenting a Violent Child as a course manual.

You will be supported as you talk about your situation and be offered appropriate skills and strategies that may be useful in your own situation. Each week you will have an opportunity to look at what worked well and what didn’t work so well, explore the reasons why and refine your strategies for the week ahead.

We are happy to announce that we have a been given a grant to help fund a small number of places. This funding can reduce the cost of the 12-week programme by up to one third (reducing the cost to £695).

There are times when taking part in the full APS course may not be appropriate. In these cases, we can provide bespoke sessions and these are charged on a per session basis.
